Each year, Studio splits into teams of students who work through the winter and spring quarters to put together an indie game. Students can apply to be team leads to pitch their idea to the club and have people join them to bring their game concept into reality!
Last year, we had over 100 students collaborate to make 11 finished games, all of which you can play on the official itch.io site!

A couch vs multiplayer game, taking inspiration from games like Mario Kart and Overcooked to amp up the yelling-at-your-friends experience to 11, with gameplay like towerfall and super smash bros but much more chaotic.
Themed around agents/spies as you take the position as a former top agent turned handler/mission control of a squad of 4 spies! It's main focus will be on choices and puzzles that determine mission success with a good amount of attention given to the 4 main interests and their story/romance routes over a series of missions. I'm also learning the basics to make it a chatsim / like those discord sim games!
The player - a masked adventurer from the underground - is tasked with exploring the outside world, set in a post-climate change era. The player visits four different tribes from the outside world, each with unique characteristics. Acquainting themselves with each respective culture, going on side quests, interacting with unique, quirky NPCs, and ultimately finding the "orb" of each tribe, "AfterWorld" immerses the player in an experience like no other.

Faithless is a 3D first person shooter with melee combat where you play as the clairvoyant MC who is secretly dispatched to an abandoned continent filled with mobs and perished bounty hunters who were members of various factions. Leading a team is a great way to get your game idea made and develop your skills as a project manager!
To be qualified to lead a team, you must attend our fall quarter Team Lead Seminars, which go over skills like making a marketable game idea, pitching, and managing a team. In addition, you will have to provide a vertical-slice prototype of your game idea by Winter quarter.
You can also join a team as a member and work with the team lead to make their game idea a reality! Oftentimes members will have the opportunity to take on leadership roles as well.
Team lead applications are available in fall quarter, so keep an eye out for announcements about the application! If you have any questions about leading a team, feel free to reach out to ACM Studio!
